Oven Dried Bhut Jolokia
Popularly known as ‘Bhut Jolokia’ (Ghost Pepper Chilli), this fiery chilli also goes by the names, Naga Jolokia, Naga Morich and Raja Mirchi – The king of Chilies. It is cultivated in the North Eastern region of India in the states of Assam, Nagaland and Manipur. Bhut Jolokia chilli was certified as the “World’s Hottest Chilli” by Guinness World Records in 2007. At over million points of SHU, this fiery chilli gives food a special flavor and heat ! The Bhut Jolokia chilli has a distinct fruity pepper aroma, with a sharp capsaicin flavor a unique combination which is cultivated from the perfect combination of climate, soil and harvest. The chilli is used to ‘heat up’ curries, pickles and chutneys. It is popularly used in combination with pork or dried or fermented fish.
